Raising the bar in training.
We have pushed ourselves to raise the bar for youth baseball training in the UK to get closer to international competition. We were the first UK youth program to introduce regular professional coaching, the first to integrate pro pitching machines consistently in training, the first to introduce mid-week practices, the first to leverage Blast Motion data for hitting and the first to offer professional 1:1 mentorship for our older, advanced athletes. We look forward to further raising the bar in 2026 as we invest in coaching, technology and facilities.
Tournaments = advanced development.
In our first season of operation, the London Monarchs participated in eight major tournaments across U12, U14, U15, U16 and U18. While we prioritise utilising tournament play as developmental opportunities for our players, we emerged as tournament champions twice and played in multiple semi-final contests across age levels. We are NOT a win-at-all-cost program - we seek to put our players in situations to push their abilities and play under pressure.
The mental game matters.
We create a supportive environment for our players and acknowledge not everyone learns or responds in the same way. One of the reasons we founded the Monarchs was to provide an escape from abusive coaches and show a more effective path for player development. We hold a high bar and ask a lot of our players; but we do so with care and by following a more modern approach grounded in building confidence and having fun.
